These pictures show moisture that is coming up through the slab or else out from below the tile around the downstairs shower.

This picture shows efflorescence developing at the base of the wall on the hallway side of the shower. This shows that its been moist for a while before we ever noticed it.

This is a little gap in the bottom grout. This could be the source of the leak. However, often these showers are created with a completely water-tight pan that won’t leak even if the tile and grout compromised. If the shower was built that way then the leak may be coming from the plumbing inside.

Normally I’d just send my plumber to troubleshoot it with me, but in this case maybe you’d like me to go through Bruce. Please advise as we have to fix this as quick as we can.
